The terms and conditions set forth here (“Terms”) govern Unlocator’s “Refer a Friend” initiative (“Program”). By either referring someone, acting upon a referral, or engaging in any part of the Program, both the person who makes the referral (“Referrer”) and the one who is referred (“Referred Customer”) consent to adhere to these Terms, as well as our overarching Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Should you disagree with any part of these Terms, our Terms of Service, or Privacy Policy, kindly refrain from taking part in the Program.
The Program is managed by Unlocator ApS. (referred to as ‘we,’ ‘us’, or ‘Unlocator’). We maintain the right to modify the Terms or discontinue the Program at our discretion. Your involvement in the Program is wholly voluntary.
Eligibility: To be a Referrer, you must 1) be a minimum of 18 years old, 2) possess an active, paid subscription to Unlocator services and a valid Unlocator user account (those with expired subscriptions are ineligible). We retain the right to verify the legitimacy of the Referrer’s account based on the stated criteria. Referral links shared via or acquired from external sources, such as third-party websites, will not be recognized. Importantly, the Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same individual, even with alternate email addresses. The Program is strictly for individuals; businesses may not partake. It’s important to mention that the Program will only honor purchases made from our website (https://unlocator.com)
Qualified Referral Definition: A “Qualified Referral” must meet all of the subsequent requirements:
- The Referred Customer must be new to Unlocator (that is, they should not have previously registered for an Unlocator account) and must qualify to establish an Unlocator account.
- The Referred Customer needs to use the Referrer’s unexpired referral link to access and acquire an Unlocator subscription.
- Subscription purchases by the Referred Customer must be made directly through our website. Those who are billed for their subscription as an in-app transaction will not be considered eligible.
- The Referred Customer is required to maintain their Unlocator subscription for a period exceeding 30 days.
Acceptance of a referral by Unlocator as a Qualified Referral require that the Referred Customer meets the criteria (i.e., complies with requirements set in these Terms and all pertinent laws). We reserver the right to reject any referral for any reason. We are not bound to disclose to the Referrer the reasons why a particular referral hasn’t been recognized as a Qualified Referral.
Rewards: Referrers will be granted a a one, two or three-month extension to their active Unlocator subscription for each Qualified Referral (“Reward”) depending on the length of the plan purchased by the Referred Customer. Rewards are distributed as follows: a monthly plan yields a one-month extension, while a one-year or two-year plan gets a three-month extension. Upon transaction completion, a Referred Customer will either receive a one, two or three-month extension to the bought Unlocator subscription, contingent on the chosen Unlocator subscription plan: a monthly plan yields a one-month extension, while a one-year or two-year plan gets a three-month extension. Rewards are non-transferable for cash, and reward values aren’t factored into any Unlocator service refunds.
Program Testing Campaigns: The Program might encompass testing campaigns to gauge its efficacy and/or the specifics and value of the Reward. If engaged in such a testing phase, your involvement will be bound by these Terms. Rewards in testing might vary and could incorporate a monetary bonus, detailed in the initial testing offer. If any reward incurs tax (based on Referrer’s local tax regulations), the Referrer assumes sole responsibility for reporting and/or handling any relevant tax implications.
Integrity & Compliance: Every Referrer must adhere to all relevant laws, including anti-spam and privacy regulations. Non-compliant Referrers must indemnify Unlocator and all related parties from any costs stemming from such breaches.
Unlocator upholds a strict no-spam policy. Unsolicited emails, mass referrals, distributing to unknown parties, using bought or scraped referral lists, or other deceptive Program promotions are forbidden. Referrers should refrain from misleading, deceitful, or disruptive behaviors related to the Program. Misusing the Program or breaking these Terms can lead to immediate disqualification or account termination.
It’s prohibited for Referrers to use multiple or fabricated emails or identities for the Program or its rewards. Unlocator, at its discretion, can exclude participants believed to be compromising the Program’s integrity, engaging in deceit, or violating these Terms.
Privacy: Joining the Program necessitates Referrers to provide personal data (like full name, email) so Unlocator can communicate regarding their Program participation or Reward provision. Personal information handled during the Program aligns with Unlocator’s Privacy Policy, available at https://unlocator.com/privacy-policy/
Liability & Indemnification: By participating, you consent to absolve Unlocator and its affiliated entities of all damages or liabilities stemming from your Program involvement or any breach of these Terms.
Exclusion of Warranties: We make or give no guarantee or warranty as to any specific results from use of the Program or the reliability, integrity, quality, fitness for purpose or originality of any content of the Program and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, conditions or other terms of any kind are hereby excluded, including any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We cannot guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted or error-free operability of the Program. There may be times when the Program become unavailable or provided with reduced functionality (whether on a scheduled or unscheduled basis) or are modified, suspended or withdrawn by us, in our sole discretion, without notice to you. You agree that we will not be liable to you or to any third party for any unavailability, modification, suspension or withdrawal of the Program.
